The Word Garden
In September of 2008 I took a photo of a gold shawl and burnished gold heels I have, and invited my readers to write a story around that photo if they felt so inspired. Those contributions were added to the blog entry I made about that photo. More recently I took a photo of a butterfly enjoying one of the pink cosmos flowers growing in my north garden. I thought that picture of the beautiful butterfly with tattered and torn wings might also offer some inspiration to my readers as well. Because I would like to continue offering readers who are also talented with words, and photography, the chance to contribute to my little place in cyber space I have created The Word Garden.
I invite those of you reading this page who are inspired by the photos to send your story or poem to me so that I might share it with others through this page. Hopefully, in time, this section will contain many stories and poems by those who drop by my little place in cyber space.
